The new sultan of Kelantan had bestowed awards and medals to 213 people.The awards was led by Deputy Inspector- general of police Datuk Seri Khalid Abu Bakar. He was awarded the Ahli Yang Pertama Kebesaran Jiwa Mahkota Kelantan which carries the title Datuk Seri Paduka.The Appellate Court Judge Datuk Seri Mohamad Apandi Ali was awarded Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan yang amat mulia (Al-Mihamadi ii) that carries the title Datuk.
