Agong Awards 2014

In conjuntion with the official birthday date of the King of Malaysia, The Agong, on 7 Jun 2014, Tuanku Abdul Halim  Mu’adzam Shah had conferred The Federal awards to 38 selected recipients.

The List of the recipients are as follows:

1. PSM - Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota - title 'Tan Sri"
- Dr Jamaludin Jarjis of 1Malaysia People’s Housing Corporation (PR1MA) chairman.
 Datuk Seri  who received the Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title ‘Tan Sri’.

- Dr Chua Soi Lek - ex- MCA presidents,
- Ong Tee Keat, ex- MCA presidents,
- Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha former Transport Minister 
- Datuk Seri Mohd Effendi Norwawi. - Bloomberg TV Malaysia chairman 

Seventeen others were also the recipients including former Housing and Local Government Minister Chor Chee Heung, former Tourism Minister Dr Ng Yen Yen, former Johor Menteri Besar Abdul Ghani Othman, deputy Inspector-General of Police Mohd Bakri Mohd Zinin and People’s Progressive Party president M.Kayveas, Federal Court Judges  Hasan Lah, Zaleha Zahari, Idrus Harun, Education Ministry secretary-general Dr Madinah Mohamad and Army chief Gen Datuk Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor. Group Managing director and Chief Executive Officer of Tabung Haji Datuk Paduka Ismee Ismail, Member of the Advisory Board on Science, Technology and Innovation to the Secretary-General and chief executives of agencies of the United Nations Datuk Seri Dr Zakri Abdul Hamid and Malaysian Pavilion Real-Estate Investment Trust chairman Datuk Lim Siew Choon. Sunway Group Deputy Executive Chairman Datuk Seri Razman Md Hashim Che Din Md Hashim, Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd Executive chairman Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Nadzmi Mohd Salleh, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad Group Managing Director Datuk Mohamad Salim Fateh Din and Management&Science University President Prof Datuk Wira Dr Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid.

B. PJN - Darjah Panglima Jasa Negara which carries the title ‘Datuk’. Sixteen recipients were receiving the awards.

FEDERAL TERRITORIES DAY 2015

In conjunction with Federal Territories Day, on 1st Feb 2015, 365 recipients are getting medals and awards of various standing. The international Hong Kong Star, Jackie Chan, is one of them. He is  is among the 71 recipients who would be conferred the Panglima Mahkota Wilayah, carrying the title Datuk.

Leading the recipients, with  the Seri Utama Mahkota Wilayah (SUMW) award, carrying the title of “Datuk Seri Utama” is the Attorney General Tan Sri Gani Patail.

The awards are to be conferred by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Alhaj Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah at Istana Negara today.
