In honour of the 82th birthday of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah was giving honours to a total of 912 people. The number of awards for this year had increased from the last year,s figure of 803.
The Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Ismail will be bestowed the Darjah Kerabat Diraja Yang Amat Dihormati while Raja Kecil Tengah Perak Raja Ahmad Nazim Azlan Shah Raja Ashman Shah receives the Darjah Yang Teramat Mulia Darjah Kerabat Azlanii II.
The following are the list of recipients.The awards presentations will be made in a ceremony at Istana Iskandariah in Kuala Kangsar.
- Darjah Kebesaran Seri Paduka Sultan Azlan Shah Perak Yang Amat Dimulia, which carries the title Datuk Seri Diraja was awarded to the Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
- Darjah Kebesaran Seri Paduka Sultan Azlan Shah Perak Yang Amat Dimulia, which carries the title Datuk Seri Diraja was awarded to the Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
- Darjah Seri Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini, which carries the title Datuk Seri will be given to Chief Justice Tun Zaki Azmi
- Kurniaan Darjah Datuk Seri Panglima Taming Sari, which carries the title Datuk Seri Panglima will be given to Deputy IGP Tan Sri Ismail Omar, army field commander Lt-Jen Datuk Ahmad Hasbullah Mohd Nawawi and RMN fleet operations chief Vice-Admiral Datuk Ahmad Kamarul-zaman Ahmad Badaruddin.
- Kurniaan Darjah Datuk Seri Paduka Mahkota Perak will be given to four people which carry the title of Datuk Seri. They are Chief Judge of Malaya Tan Sri Arifin Zakaria, Perak State Secretary Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hashim, Orang Kaya-Kaya Laksamana Raja Mahkota Datuk Mohd Amin Shukeri Ali Akbar and Japanese philanthropist Muneyoshi Ueda.
