Sarawak Award 2016

In conjunction with the birth day of the Yang Dipertua Negari Sarawak,

115 worthy recipients of various awards were set to receive their honors and titles from Yang diPertua Negeri Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud.
The conferment was lead by the Zahid Hamidi with the title Datuk Patinggi.

The other recipients are:

B: Datuk Amar - The award is Datuk Amar Bintang Kenyalang
- Md Raus Sharif (Tan Sri)
- Jamilah Anu

C. Datuk Sri - Panglima Negara Bintang Sarawak
- Dr Stephen Rundi Utom
- Ambrin Buang

The Awards:

A. Datuk Amar Bintang Kenyalang award, which carries the title Datuk Amar.
-  Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif Court of Appeal president
-  Puan Sri Jamilah Anu, the wife of Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem,

B.Panglima Negara Bintang Sarawak award carrying title which carries the title Datuk Sri.
- Public Utilities Minister Datuk Dr Stephen Rundi Utom,
- Auditor-General Tan Sri Ambrin Buang
- OBYU Sdn Bhd executive chairman Tan Sri Bustari Yusuf,

C.  Panglima Gemilang Bintang Kenyalang award, which carries the title Datuk.
- Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri, the sole recipient.

D. Jasa Bakti Sarawak award, which carries the title Datu.

- Sarawak deputy state secretary Dr Sabariah Putit, 

- Permanent secretary to the Public Utilities Ministry Ubaidillah Abdul Latip

- Sarawak Bumiputra Court chief registrar Ga­­nie Ugay 

E. Panglima Setia Bintang Sarawak award, which carries the title Datuk, 

The seven recipients of the  are Datin Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang, the wife of Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Abang Openg, Malaysian ambassador to Spain Kennedy Jawan and Opar state assemblyman Ranum Mina.

F. The others are BNDM Incorpo­rated Holdings Sdn Bhd chairman Richard Wee, Robert Laing Anyie, Lim Kian Hock and Pastor Justin Wan.

G. Other Awards include:
- Johan Bintang Sara­wak (three recipients),
- Johan Bintang Kenya­lang (eight),
- Jo­­han Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (one),
- Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemer­lang (Gold) (12),
- Pegawai Bintang Sarawak (12),
Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang (Honorary) (one) and Pegawai Bintang Kenyalang. .
